20th Annual St. Paul School Benefit Dinner & Auction Sets New Record
May 2 -- This year's Lutheran School Annual Benefit Dinner and Auction set a new record as income from the event raised $136,000 -- which is $10,000 above last years record total. Since the annual expenses of the church's school are greater than the tuition charged, fundraisers such as this one play an important role in obtaining funds needed to enhance the Christian education provided to the students. The school was founded in 1874 and today has an enrollment of about 323 students. In addition, St. Paul Lutheran Church also opened a high school four years ago which will hold its first graduation ceremony on May 16 this year.
