New West Columbia Street Bridge Nears Completion

On July 29 the new bridge looked like this:

July 29 -- Our sources tell us that the new bridge and sidewalk project on West Columbia St. is virtually complete and should be open for public use by August 14.  Final work on the sidewalk remains to be completed.  In addition, the bridge itself will be paved.  In time,  all of the rest of Columbia Street will be repaved and the sidewalk shown here will follow Columbia Street from Hyler Street to Ste. Genevieve Avenue.
