This Year's Fall Festival One of the Best Ever
September 26 -- With more attractions than in previous years, -- plus nice weather mixed with occasional misting -- the 2015 edition of Downtown Farmington's annual Fall Festival may have been one of the most successful to date. Although most of the activities were located on a three-block closed off area on Columbia Street centered in front of the Court House, this year's festival also included display booths on neighboring side streets. Among the highlights was live entertainment, a fine car show, booths with plenty of free samples, and a larger variety of venders than in the past. Also on the menu was a quilt show, a tractor show, a costumed dog contest, wine, beer tasting and brats, and a chalk art festival. All of these attractions helped to bring visitors downtown well into the late afternoon. To be sure, our Fall Festival seems to get bigger and better every year.
