Perfect Weather Helps Draw Crowd for
Homecoming Parade
Nearly perfect weather in the low 70s helped bring out a large crowd for this year's edition of the annual high school homecoming parade. The large number of entries -- comparable to the lengthy Country Days parades early in the summer each year -- entertained the crowds that lined both Columbia and Liberty streets. The success of that event seemed to set the stage for a successful evening that followed when the Knights posted an impressive 32-6 victory over the visiting Normandy varsity squad. Our photo essay below helps illustrate the wide variety of entries that highlighted this year's parade.
