New Bus Loop Should Reduce Traffic Congestion at Truman Kindergarten
August 6 -- Several weeks ago the house next door to the Truman Kindergarten school on North "A" Street was torn down to make room for a new school bus loop. When operational, the loop will allow buses to load and unload students at this new location rather than from public streets. Especially affected will be large sections of both North "A" Street and College Ave. that, up to now, have been reserved for buses. Under the plan, buses going to Truman will enter the loop from North "A " Street and exit on a service road on the west side of the new Early Childhood Center and then leave the campus via North Franklin Street.
